Hi! Is anyone still visiting this site and working on their house history?
I love this site, but the message boards are dead. I'm worried that I'm the only one here and one day I'll find the site has gone...
Also, does anyone know whether the series will be repeated on tv? I didn't see it first time round, but there's no schedule information on here.

I just joined the site; stumbled across it while looking for our old family home in South Molton. It was a thatched roof cottage and may have been on the Shallowford Estate. Is there any way to ask the members at large if they know of it? I have a photo of the place although the quality is not the best.

Hi and welcome!
I wouldn't think anyone will be able to help you with your specific house, but if you posted a photo someone may be able to help you date it from the architecture.
The guides on this site are very helpful and will show you how to find the history yourself, as the chances of anyone here knowing anything about it are very remote.

In case anyone is interested, there were 2 episodes of Hidden House History shown on the History channel on Sky at 5.30am on Sunday, so they may be being repeated.
